Welcome to the Blackdown Hills Natural Fibres website

Welcome to Blackdown Hills Natural Fibres. We are a group of fibre farmers, processors and users all living and working within or around the Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty straddling the Devon and Somerset border.

Whether we grow it, process it or use it we are all totally commited to offering you the very best Alpaca, Cashmere, Mohair and wool products in a sustainable, environmentally friendly way. Our members grow it here, process it here wherever possible at Coldharbour Mill and then turn it into the most amazing range of high quality. absolutely unique yarns and finished items.

On this site you will find information about our group ethos as well as individual members and their services or products . If you share our commitment to local processing of local fibre in an environmentally sensitive way but without the compromise on quality this sometimes means, then join us! Farmers, processors and end users are all welcome.
